She trains under the watchful eye of Joan Duquemin, Nicole Button and Elizabeth Morrow. Kate has competing at mostly amatuer levels ( too many levels test and pair and trios comptitions) but is starting to make a move by competing in the 1998 Victorian Championships and the 1996 Pacific School Games.

You often hear of dedicated gymnasts letting the crudentials if the sport get them down. Not Kate who enjoys many hobbies away from that square of tape and carpet that can make or break a career. Kate trains now and eventually would like to coach Rhythmic Gymnastics.
