Equipment Specifications
- With one foot on the middle of the rope, measure so that the ends of the rope reach your armpits, but do not go above your shoulders
- The rope can be made of hemp or synthetic material
- The rope is usually 8-11mm in diameter

- throws
- leaps (successive and isolated)
- skips / hops
- jumps
- changes in grip
- changes in speed
Tips for Apparatus Care
- Knots can be tied in the ends of the rope to make handling easier
- A small amount of tape on each end of the rope can make it easier to see when catching it
- The rope does not have to be bought from an RG equipment supplier, it can be purchased from a marine shop etc as there are many brightly coloured boat ropes that are also suitable for RG
